very funny to me that both liberal and radical feminist legal policy are complete and utter failures of projects because in response to a situation where "boys" want to play with girls and associate with girls the response by the state is to ban this to ensure it's either become a patriarch or die

This is great but I would add a big reason GCs are stuck on gametes is they spent ages hopping from trait to trait ("it's genitals! No? Okay, XX/XY!! No? Okay it's...") and gametes are the square they were on when they found themselves at the end of the board without further spaces to retreat to.

Just want to bounce off this thing to say: the concept of "social contagion" does not necessarily mean the ideas transmitted are negative. So it's just more of transphobes using a bunch of words they don't understand to form some sort of faux intellectual argument.

So the "Her own loved ones" line gets me there, because it precisely is the line that is used to get trans people and gay people in patterns of minimal acceptance that can cause a lot of self-harm. It's a pattern of abuse that is hard to identify because it's done under the guise of acceptance.

Accepting parents are great, better than non-accepting ones for sure, but they are still themselves and they can very easily slip into a "Let's tolerate minimal change until my child wakes up from this delusion" mentality.
