My favorite ludicrous New Yorker style is that they print initialisms in full caps but acronyms (initialisms pronounced as words) in small caps, so in the days of CD-ROMs, they'd write the word like this:

among many other things (and despite Stoppard’s own politics), there are at least a few handfuls of teen theater nerds who went from loving Rosencrantz+ Guildenstern/Arcadia to reading or watching Coast of Utopia to actually reading Bakunin and having their whole understanding of the world changed
