it's a simplification but i still like to think that the reading of a novel is a quite developed and complex relationship between two people. if one of them is AI, that's a relationship of some kind. but it doesn't seem especially appealing even if your aim is just to find something to beat off to

Sometimes I am annoyed by the resurgence of interpretive methods which seem to me very vulgar and simple—making bad old homologies between the aesthetic and the economic, etc. but then sometimes there are movies made which are quite simply bribes, alibis to funnel money to the wealthy and powerful
