I got a shower caddy for $5 secondhand and after hanging it up found that it was slipping and would need either more suction cups or something for the top hook to hold onto
I remembered the container of rubber bands tonight and now the caddy sits where I need it to!

I was looking at floating shelves again tonight and had a brainwave about a different way to organize some of the small pieces of furniture in my bedroom. I acted on half of what I thought of tonight (the other half is too disruptive to do at the current time) & feel victorious!

One of my coworkers is effusive about how incredibly helpful and informed I am (in the job we have been doing since June) so I suggested that he enter feedback for me in Workday and he hadn't known you could do that 😂 so I supported my colleague in support in his support of me

My schooling experience was atypical. The quickest way to explain how is: I was doing algebra by 3rd grade, asked my mom if every state has a president in 7th grade, & took all of my core classes for high school at the community college while I took classes on flying airplanes through my high school

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.
And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

The world would be immensely better if more religions and their believers had even a tenth of the dedication the Sikhs do to doing good for people with no gatekeeping or expectations of anything other than "you are a fellow human in need and we can help you"
Folks, if you are hungry, please contact your local Sikh gurdwara. Or just show up for langar, which most gurdwaras do several times a week, for a free meal. Lots also do weekly or monthly drives giving out groceries.
