Therapist here: Hey, it’s ok. You are trying, and that is what is important. If no one else told you this today, I’m proud of you.
You got this. ♥️

'Late Night' host Seth Meyers clearly is a big fan of Tom Hanks' Dungeons and Dragons-themed 1982 TV-movie 'Mazes and Monsters.'

In honor of Thanksgiving, I'm switching out of my everyday stained sweatpants, into my fancier non-stained sweatpants.

I work with Indigenous populations, yup…
There aren't a lot of Thanksgiving movies because we absolutely do not want to dwell on the reason for the season

If I made a children's/horror/commercial tv show set in the 80s about a bunch of kids dealing with an otherworldly evil entity I wouldn't have called it Stranger Things I would have called it The Adventures of the Outrageous Mister Reagan and His Magnificent Central Intelligence Agency

Yes, it is not a perfect retelling, but I liked the different direction. I do feel the animation for the wolves needed a little work, but overall, Frankenstein is fantastic. I give it an A- 5-end

The sets of course are their own character and they are always absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful, gothic, and heartfelt, this was truly a love letter to Mary Shelly. Yes, it is not a perfect retelling, but I liked the different direction. 4

Oscar Isaac played Victor at the perfect level of arrogance and cruelty, but his softer side was also incredibly well done. The only low point of the characters was Christoph Waltz, whom I adore, but felt unneeded honestly… 3

Jacob Elordi is a panther-like creature, filled with a clumsy grace that is charming and engaging. Mia Goth’s Elizabeth is so delightfully filled with woe and mercy, she was one of the best parts. Oh and her costumes… *wistful sigh* 2

My thoughts on Frankenstein (2025):
Oh Guillermo, you always fill me with such beautiful/terrible joy. Such a sumptuous feast of gore and beauty all at once, I was entranced. The actors do a fabulous job embodying their characters, and you can see their passions paint across the screen. 1

And you can blame the goddamned patriarchy for all of this utter bullshit!
It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview.
