@mattlanza.bsky.social , longtime Houston-area follower here. How much of this tragedy do you think is due to the fact that folks in central TX haven't had the frequent flooding experiences that we have had here in Houston, culminating in Harvey, Imelda, et al?
Just want to thank all for the thoughtful dialogue and kind words today. I don’t have answers to a lot of questions I ask. But it’s good to see so many people eager to engage on these topics of importance.

It's the little things. My wife went to a school board candidate forum, so the older two kids (age 6 and 9) made their lunches for tomorrow while I put the littlest one (3) to bed. I'm proud of them. They're good kids.
