Ben Stiller followed me on here because I made a stupid, but mean comment about his films, whilst praising Severance.

Sorry @benstiller.redhour.com

You have earned my respect sir.
The fact that people who use ai to make 'art' don't even notice things like this tells you everything you need to know about how fucking stupid and ignorant they are
Fuck me....
This mural has gone up in Kingston, ostensibly for Christmas but AI has ensured it's actually to celebrate the return of our dark lord Cthulhu

Help me out!

I can't decide who the biggest boy band non-celebrity of all time is

Some say it's Antony Costa, whilst others insist it's Dane Bowers

The important thing to remember is that whoever gets crowned, there are no actual winners here

Don't think I'll bother with any more episodes of that new it series, on account of it being really shit

The scary bits are alright, but I loathe every single one-dimensional character

It wants to be a scarier Stranger Things, but it has none of the chemistry, charm or wit of that cast

Is the Game Awards the one where the nominees have all paid to be shortlisted, or is that a different sham awards thing in thinking of?

Picked up a tin of shortbread in #ALDI

Immediately put it back down and refused to buy it because it had AI artwork on the cover.

Execs always claim bloated budgets increase retail prices. This is a lie.

They will always increase prices to whatever they think they can get away with. Always have, always will. AI is merely a new get-richer-quicker scheme.

And execs will never admit the most bloated costs… are themselves.
- AI is used to offload the "tedious" work so devs can focus on the artistic side of things

- AI will make games cheaper to and faster to produce

Still a $70 game btw...

steam is apparently allowing "this game had AI in it that it didn't disclose" as a valid return statement, so if you or anyone you know actually paid $70 for slop, get that money back

We've just had someone block us for being anti-AI.

We don't apologise for this. GenAI is almost overwhelmingly trained on human-made content without permission. It produces soulless results & we oppose its use in all forms of art.

If you're upset by that, feel free to unfollow

Managed to tolerate a whopping 90 minutes of One Battle After Another before having to turn it off

The decision was made due to there still being another 70 minutes to sit through

Haven't ditched a film for a while and I've sat through some proper shite, so it is NOT recommended.

Plenty of things to give Bluesky a kicking about regarding moderation and 'open' labellers, but the private school labeller now having an 'Epstein Connection' label also shows it can be extremely lmao.

Frankenstein

Really wanted to like it but it wasn't to be

Not a patch on Toro's best work

Practical effects appreciated but CG animals were the worst I've ever seen in a movie

A worrying trend I've noticed for a few years now

Are movie CG animals animated (badly) by the same VFX company?

Comforting to see the hatred for Game Key Cards in the comments

Will #Nintendo do a bullshit damage control announcement to say this was just an example of GKC and then announce an actual physical version, or double-down and do/say nothing?
