I went to meet the 'Rockstar 31', the developers who were suddenly fired from their work on GTA 6 for what the studio has described as gross misconduct.

That's not what the workers call it though. They have another couple of words they prefer to use: union busting.

Another image done for the cutscenes in the Amiga OCS game I'm working on.
The game really needs to get a name at some point.

‘Women & children to the front’ is a paramilitary and far-right strategy of legitimisation. Paramilitary backed far-right violence, intimidation & pogroms August 2024, Ballymena 2025 etc - same modus operandi. It was common knowledge that these weapons were to be handed out by this far-right group.

An all-female far right group founded in England has started a branch in Northern Ireland, handing out pink knuckledusters to crowds gathered at a protest over the weekend.

This is how Belfast looks in Mobile Suit Gundam: EX Revue (1994)

Honestly, pretty accurate

I could do with a few more giant mechs battering each other a few miles from my house though

Real talk... I used to watch this show religiously when I was a kid.

I suspended my disbelief because I always wanted to explore the dungeons for myself.
When directions fail in the heat of the moment - as they often did on virtual television adventure game Knightmare!

Ooh, nasty~

Broadcast between 1987-1994 in the UK (with French and Spanish adaptations) Knightmare pitted a team of kids to guide a friend through a perilous dungeon.

It's a well known fact that video games peaked 30 years ago with a Space Invaders sequel where Ultraman Ace uses the crosses of Planet Golgotha as cover while shooting down Kaiju but it's nice that everyone keeps trying anyway

Perry Farrell is a wanker?

It's always the ones you most suspect.
"Recently, an art piece that I co-created over 30 years ago with my then-partner, musician Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction, was unearthed from a storage facility, after apparently being misplaced by the band’s management."

I Was A Creative Force Behind One Of The Biggest Rock Bands Of The '90s. Then I Watched Them Erase Me From Their Story.
"At that time, the band had broken up, and I was told they would never reunite. But that’s not what happened."

People will often cite the banal Billy Bragg as the 'voice of the left', but the reality is that Napalm Death are the true standard bearers who call out fascism with an anger that cannot be tamed.

The most basic argument I can give you for ditching Spotify for *anything* is Spotify, uniquely, pays *nothing* for much of the music on the platform. Is there *any* improvement in paying for Spotify over pirating? You're a paper-thin moral slice away from buying music from a bootlegger. Why do it?
Confirmed: From 2024, tracks on Spotify will have to be played 1,000 times before they start earning money
Spotify has told industry players that it expects the new 1,000-play minimum annual threshold will reallocate tens of millions of dollars per year from 0.5% of its current royalty pool to the other 99...
