I love to call my Senators' offices three times per week and try to cajole them into doing the most elementary political messaging and strategy. This is what it means to be an engaged citizen: leaving a strenuously polite voicemail for a 74yo on a more regular cadence than I talk to my parents.

Something giving me extra delight is how obvious China's Deepseek play has made it to the American public that genAI is not lifesaving tech that can save humanity but is in fact just a cheap empty toy that shouldn't cost or generate a dime
If your tech is actually intended to save humanity, u wouldn't put it behind a paywall and start international trade wars about it and pass a bunch of laws prohibiting other countries from using the same components you are idk just a thought

i have to confess something. 6 or 7 years ago there was a bubble tea place i visited, and they had 2 tvs mounted above the counter to use as menus. they also had free wifi. and the tvs were connected to the wifi. it was laid out like this but for bubble tea, i'm sure youve seen it
