Left to danger: Norfolk council inaction leads to flag-related violence
As Norfolk refused to act on flag complaints, locals removing them instead found themselves threatened and violently attacked

Fiona Bruce desperately tries to smear Zack Polanski and the Green Party as supporting open borders as if it is the worst thing in the world.

But 56% of the UK support Free Movement.

It is actually her demonisation of migration which is supported by only 20% of the UK.

All the coverage of Reeves ‘lying’ debagged in a single sentence.
I’m quite enjoying the 180 turn on a six pence from “you’ve wrecked the economy and created a black hole” to “there was no black hole and this is even worse”.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

They keep dropping these comments & watching the reaction. They try to normalise these views & reframe themselves as "misunderstood" with partial retractions. The upper echelons mildly distance themselves to make themselves look "reasonable". It's a pattern, we need to keep calling it out!

Poverty
Poor housing
Low wages/pensions
Queues for hospital appointments
Premature death to many
Sewage in rivers
Cuts in spending on essential services
Closure of libraries, community centres.

Whose law, who rules? Govts appease corporations/rich.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich

👏 Today marks 75 years since the creation of the ECHR.

We should celebrate the vision that Winston Churchill showed in recognising everyone’s human rights.

But there are now calls for the UK to leave ECHR.

As with Brexit, leaving would strip all of us of fundamental rights.

The Bear explains
Leaving the ECHR won’t “Take Back Control” – it will hand your rights to politicians
The myths are seductive, the reality is very different – without the ECHR your freedoms rest on whichever Home Secretary wakes up grumpy
