There's still a lot of curable ballots from Seattle (about 1,800). Most are unsigned or signature mismatches, and most skew younger.

Eventually the world of software development will come to its senses, stop using git, and retrvn to source management as the gods intended it to be.

By @nerd4cities.bsky.social rules, without a Cheesecake Factory, Seattle doesn’t have a downtown either.
Even more than the fact that the trains don't go to these places yet, the new signage is confusing to visitors in that it might lead them to believe Federal Way has a downtown.

As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

The way forward is together, not over the bodies of our own.

I wonder if @jeremycole.bsky.social cleans more miles of bike infrastructure by himself every year than @seattledot.bsky.social does as a whole organization 🤔
Heyo, West Seattle cyclists! I cleaned up the leaves on the Spokane Street bridge / Delridge Way SW / 22nd Ave SW connector again. It was quite leafy. I also trimmed back a lot of the edges. Could use more trimming but looking good!

I’ve known & worked with Katie for almost a decade. I’ve watched her unfailingly fight for the needs & rights of working class people in Seattle. I’ve found Katie next to me at canvasses, at picket lines, & at City Hall, & always on the right side of things. Vote Katie Wilson. She’ll fight for YOU.

Now is a great time to walk around and see people in Seattle using umbrellas.

On my walk to grab coffee in Pioneer Square I’d say it was a solid 40% using umbrellas.

If I had brought mine, I would have used it to.
This is a common mistake made by Seattleites who drive everywhere.

Walk around on any decently rainy day, and a good 20-30% of people are using umbrellas.

Umbrellas are less common in Seattle than other rainy cities, but hardly the anathema people try to claim.

The only morally valid choice Bruce Harrell has at this point is to drop out of the race.

What a sad, power hungry, small minded man.

If I was writing a satirical news story about a bunch of NIMBYs at a community design meeting, I wouldn’t write a character this rote.

Amazing that we let people with so little to say have so much power.
Collette, a neighbor, is asking, skeptically, about the color and the brick and the upkeep and possibility of an empty storefront, graffiti, "big white square modern thing." Something about "shit show." Ugh. Developer says there will be an on-site property manager and SRM will manage the building.
