Outside of the giant Canada flag hung by the @albertandp on the Federal Building, the flags on the Alberta Legislature are those of Alberta, the Lieutenant Governor and the Royal Union. Canada flag no where to be seen on the building durning Canada Day. #CanadaDay2025

Attending @mmsmoa.bsky.social and not participating in the Patch Quest card game.

Stop by the @patchmypc.com booth to see if you can trade-in your cards for a “Give Back” raffle ticket for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. /1

Woke up while the stars will still out and the sun was sleeping to start my journey to @mmsmoa.bsky.social.

Arrived in Denver, short layover and now onboard for #MSP. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Oh and hearing about all that is new.

Safe travels everyone!

Finally! Microsoft just shared an update on the Microsoft 365 Developer Program.

There's not much meat in it but it hints at Microsoft working on making it available again for free (don't quote me on this).

More details below

Keep telling yourself that.

I don't think Trump, Vance, or most Americans understand how much pain we're willing to endure to outlast them on this. We know it's going to hurt a lot and for a long time. We don't have another choice though. This is about our existence and we are not going to give in.
Vance on Canada: "They just don't have the cards. There is no way that Canada can win a trade war with the United States."

Watching Canadian Bacon with the boy.

Really have to wonder if Trump has this movie on his nightly viewing. When fiction becomes reality.

She didn't know about nearly half a billion dollars worth of contracts?

For perspective, that's about 5% of the ENTIRE AB Health budget.

Not only do I not believe that she didn't know, if she truly didn't, think about how badly mismanaged this is. Especially given the importance she ascribed.

All this echo-chamber stuff really misses the mark for me. I didn't come to BlueSky for it's political leanings, frankly, I hope to escape all that

I just want a place to enjoy, and I hadn't enjoyed Twitter in years, even before Elon, and it only got worse after.

My one constructive criticism on BlueSky, as a community: we need to “like” less and “retweet” more. In the absence of an algorithm, that’s the way we find each other and reward good content.

Why are Trump supporters not wanted ? You dont have to follow them. You can block them. You can filter words. Don’t you want @bsky.app to have all perspectives ? I certainly do.

As long as it’s civil. Why not welcome different viewpoints ?
I don't understand Trump supporters. Why come where you are not wanted. It's odd. Witness me syndrome in the worst way.

And Heritage Fund.
