This World AIDS Day, we remember the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers lost to HIV and AIDS, and those living with HIV today. We must remind ourselves and each other that the fight isn’t over until the epidemic is over for everyone.

Trump calls to hang Democrats who oppose him
US Coast guard no longer considers swastika a hate symbol
97.4% of (mostly) Latinos ICE arrested have 0 criminal record

This is what systemic white supremacy looks like. Trump is building a Nationalist Christian (Nat-C) state to violently stifle dissent.

Trump has clearly manifested himself as human garbage every hour of every day for 10 years. So while, yes, it's gratifying that more people seem to be finally noticing, a little, maybe, two questions come to mind:
1. What the fuck took you so long?
2. What are you going to do about it now?

The neat thing about being innocent of a horrific crime—especially while you have complete control over the government—is you have zero hesitation to release the overwhelming files of evidence proving you’re 100% innocent.

Guilty people, however, do the exact opposite.

I believe in dreaming of and working towards a better world than the one we have now.

And that’s why henceforth I will ensure everyone I draw
- friend or foe, villain or hero -
is caked up.

Everyone deserves to sit upon a blessed throne.

But among the ones that said yes, Mosque and black churches
A woman on TikTok did a social experiment where she had sound effects of a crying baby and called up churches saying she ran out of formula and asked if the church would feed her starving baby.

Over 75% said no.

She'd then ask if they're a pro-life church at which point most hang up.

Schumer & Jeffries should have the integrity to resign from their positions in leadership. They've failed, badly. Either they cannot control their caucuses or they're lying & secretly pushed this vote through behind the scenes.

Either way, their betrayal of the American people is indefensible.

look I know being an engaged citizen IS the work of democracy but it is also the work of elected officials not to create situations where everyone has to be mobilized all the time to prevent them from allowing some kind of Dickensian horror on a Sunday night while you're in between loads of laundry

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Trump was able to find $40 billion to bail out Argentina and $300 million for his new ballroom.

Yet he can't find funds to prevent millions of Americans from losing access to healthcare or stop kids from going hungry.

Cruelty is the point.

How would $50M change your life?

You'd have more than enough for yourself, your family, for generations. If you taxed Elon Musk at 99.99%, so he only controlled .01% of the wealth he currently controls—he'd still have $50M.

No one needs or earns $500B. Abolish billionaires. Save democracy. Period.

Evidence keeps piling up: Medicaid work requirements do not increase employment. They just make it harder for people to get health insurance.

Latest evidence comes from a BMJ study on Georgia. 🧵

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.
