Most people think filmmaking is glamorous, but sometimes it’s finding yourself in a Walmart in deepest, darkest Canada at 9:30 on a Sunday, stocking your hotel room with embarrassing junk food so when you stagger in at 3am from a long shoot you don’t have to rely on vending machines for nourishment.

Event Horizon and In The Mouth of Madness are why I need Sam Neill and Jeffrey Combs to co-star in some unhinged cosmic horror flick while they're still both with us.
Watching Event Horizon and two things stand out. First is that the movie has aged remarkably well. The other is that as an engineer and scientist, when your technological wonder ship is powered by arcane panels and torture rings in a sphere filled with spikes, you may have made some design errors.
