Diagnosed late at fifty.
Research/science involving autistic people and aging is underrepresented in the scientific community.
Not to find a cure but enhance quality of living.
All ages welcome here.
My opinions and typos my own.
If you get a chance check out Professor Caulfield‘s books. No grift only great insight and information. No not a paid endorsement 😁

I was diagnosed at fifty. After having raised two autistic sons and I have an autistic sibling and cousins I felt that I was just like them.
I didn’t just turn autistic like I was diseased.
I always was and am autistic.
A diagnosis is just an affirmation of where I belonged all along.

Disability education should not be put into HHS because it's not a health issue, it's an education issue. The idea that disability = health is dehumanizing and, frankly, simply wrong.

Earlier today I posted about how maybe people who take psychedelics regularly shouldn't be leaders. I said this because RFK Jr and many of the Bro-Nazis have been doing things like micro-dosing LSD & taking ketamine, etc.

For a laugh I looked it up. Seems I wasn't too far off. 😂

Apropos of nothing:

People with narcissistic personality traits are very sensitive to ‘injury’ from defeat.

They may feel humiliated, degraded, hollow, and empty.

They may react with disdain, rage, or defiant counterattack.

They always have an autistic chapter. They always want to use cruel and inhumane fake treatments and noncures. And They always pick the ones who can’t defend themselves. It’s like watching Epstein island autistic edition.

Ahh….no
So, @theglobeandmail.com wants us not to be angry with the cement-headed anti-vaxxers who deliberately reject scientific truths and wreck our herd immunity to measles, and instead to treat them “gently” and “with compassion.”
Hogwash.

Hello media please stop framing the autism/gut microbiome discourse around autism being a bad thing. Being autistic can be extremely challenging, absolutely, but that's because because society at large doesn't understand and isn't built for autistic people.

It’s not enough anymore to educate against misinformation

Health and science need a plan against the ideology that will not stop until every person on the planet distrusts science and medicine and vaccines

Get involved in supporting science based medicine
