Opinion | Six surgeons general: It’s our duty to warn the nation about RFK Jr.

the good news is that there's anti-racist and anti-ableist literature when it comes to technology and healthcare. The problem is now I have to remember all of this for my defense...

This is making me think.
If you want a weird but true fact to talk about:

Dexter Holland, lead singer of The Offspring, was instrumental in this. His doctorial thesis in molecular biology was sequencing mRNA in HIV. The paper was also heavily cited in creating the COVID-19 vaccine.
It feels like we should be making a bigger deal of “we actually did in fact find a cure for AIDS”

Pro tip to the people I overheard who think it’s great that Trump wants the IRS abolished:
I guess if you want a society with no hospitals, and no roadways, and no airports, you can have that. Just don’t expect it to be functional.

Many NIH employees signed the Bethesda Declaration, objecting to the destruction of NIH. The Trump NIH Director asked the signers to meet. The rally follows that meeting, in support.

A classic sign of authoritarianism is destroying the independent press.

Trump just defunded PBS. He’s threatening to sue WSJ for linking him to Epstein. Colbert was fired after correctly noting CBS had bribed Trump.

Let’s support independent media against this fascist assault.

Pro tip: you don’t HAVE to let them.

This is not just about Texas.

This is about power, control, and rigging elections before a single vote is cast.

They’re trying to redraw the maps, and rewrite the rules.

Let me remind them: they took an oath to the Constitution, not to Trump—and map manipulation is voter suppression.
