I have this theory that irony will kill your republic just as dead as tyranny, and I'd just as soon not see it tested, thank you very much.

In 1773, a crack monastic order was dissolved by the Catholic church for a heresy they didn’t commit. Today, still wanted by the Holy Office, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help and if you can find them, maybe you can hire - the J-Team.

Lots of state house focus these days. Dem governors are facing a serious risk of just having won the right to be standing on the bridge when the ship hits the iceberg.
That's good, I guess - you don't want Gong Show contestants on the bridge - but it's a potential resume-killer....

The clerks where I get my lunch said a man came in last week and asked them where the public entrance to 26 Federal Plaza was. He locked his bike outside, and it’s been there since.

The courts will ultimately decide whether the President even has the authority to redefine Title IX in this way.

A teenager in Maine was separated from his family, caught up in Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda - The Boston Globe
The teenager, who does not have a lawful status, was in a car on his way to work when he was arrested and detained by Border Patrol. He's now in federal custody in New York.

This is, literally, a textbook example of an unethical edict. Like exactly this is literally in every ethics textbook.
Homan: Don’t knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien from ice. Because that is a felony. We have one hell of an Attorney General coming in… we're going to have consequences of people who violate the law and try to prevent us from doing our job.
