NEW: The anti-Trump protest happening right now on the streets of Washington DC is HUGE!

It looks like tens of thousands have joined.

This is the view from 16th Street - people stretching as far as the eye can see 👏

What Professor Snyder said.
The amount is meaningless — less than one day of salary. But the principle is important: once the armed services are paid by the oligarchs, they become a private militia, and we no longer have a country.

I've seen this go by a few times on TikTok now and I have to say, I love this idea. We need a way to convince people to keep running even if they don't win, maybe building the loss into it as a troll move is the secret.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Happy 250th to this republic if we can keep it.
"The Constitution vests the power of declaring War with Congress, therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they shall have deliberated upon the subject, and authorised such a measure."

The thing that I truly adore about this letter is the subtext: “keep in mind, if you want to pursue this shit any further, that we are so much better than you better at this stuff.”
The letter from Bill and Hillary Clinton to James Comer explaining their refusal to testify in his Epstein investigation is really remarkable, not like any letter of this genre I've seen. It's signed by them, not a lawyer, and the arguments are not legal ones. Reprinted from their X account:

Seeing every news outlet (even pundits I loved at the time like Jon Stewart) turn Occupy into a punchline was one of my bigger radicalizing moments I think
Remembering when this caused outrage and furore; we've fallen so much further since 😖

CAIN: Trump came at you hard the other day, saying you "should never be elected to office again." You changed your vote on war powers after that. Why?

Remember when the NYPD officer pepper sprayed the peaceful protesters during Occupy and it was a big deal?

ICE daily
One basic pattern here is that DHS officials are engaging in violence simply because they are irritated at citizens protesting them. There is no plausible threat of violence here. He just wants to inflict pain, and believes there will be no penalty for doing so.
Big clash this afternoon between DHS agents and protesters in a residential street in Minneapolis, following a DHS agent hitting another vehicle. Tear gas was deployed in people’s yards and agents pepper prayed people.
