My God.

This hit so hard.

Because you know what they're going to choose.

And it makes you feel like, as a species, we may be irredeemable. So many of us find just doing the basic decent thing an utter impossibility.

Despite children starving to death in Gaza while their parents are being bombed at aid stations, Election Cicada Jill Stein hasn’t emerged to chastise Trump or Netanyahu. Weird huh?

These stories are horrific, as is the realization that around 35% of Americans would respond “GOOD!”

It is insane that this article says they did not identify themselves, yet takes them at their word about being Federal agents. Insane.

Assume they are Proud Boys until proven otherwise, no matter what they say.

Just some creepy armed Mad Max guys trying to gain entry to Dodgers Stadium.

ICE says it wasn’t them. DHS says they were Border Patrol. But honestly who the hell knows? They’ve given permission for any psycho to put on a ski mask, point a gun, grab people & throw them into an unmarked vehicle.

I will say it again: If we make it through this dark period with democracy intact, it may be because the administration's incompetence was greater than its depravity.
So, uh, it certainly looks like DOJ intended to file a letter to Judge Liman in MTA v. Duffy, but….it accidentally filed a letter containing its legal advice to the Department of Transportation instead

Lawyers across the country, including me, are ringing the bell as loud as we possibly can about the fact that the Abrego Garcia case signals the end of our democracy.

The vicious, fascistic lies Trump, Bondi, Miller, and Homan have told about it underscore that they know exactly what they're doing.
Why one deportation case has legal scholars afraid for even U.S. citizens : Consider This from NPR
The Trump administration admitted that it wrongfully deported a man named Kilmar Abrego Garcia. It had also been arguing that courts cannot compel the U.S. government to return him to this country. The ...

Hours ago, @politico.com revealed that DOGE is working with DHS on automating mass deportation efforts — likely explaining why many US citizens, green card holders, and even a Canadian (in Canada) got threatening emails last night terminating “your parole” and telling them to leave the US in 7 days.
