"his slaves were safer in his care"

I'm going to put you in a cage and poke you with sticks forever
Oh good, you can do math.

Jefferson didn't argue FOR the 3/5th compromise. He argued to *abolish* slavery. The South threatened to not sign the Declaration if he did, thus the "compromise".

And as noted REPEATEDLY, his slaves were safer in his care.

The DNC would rather spend 2 million on consultants and pollsters to tell them they have a messaging problem,

than to invest half of that in actually fixing that problem by hiring talented permanent staff.

Auchincloss: No, John, she hasn't.

Not for nothing but the “bromance” stuff is as made up cope as anything else. I haven’t heard a clip of Mamdani saying anything other than “I appreciated the invitation to discuss things with him” and agreeing that he called him a fascist

MAMDANI: And I just think that there are barriers, barricades, to helping Americans that we can break down
TRUMP: Uh huh
MAMDANI: And breaking down barriers? Reminds me of a certain Broadway show *smiling widely* where they worked together to break a barricade?
TRUMP: *sitting bolt upright* Phantom

I can only speak for myself but I'll wait and see how Mamdani does in office as the Mayor of New York City. Genuinely wishing him and his constituents, some of whom are no doubt comrades by the way, the best.

86 Democrats, including @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, voted for this. He and the party leadership aren't just cowards and morons who keep finding new ways to fail at their very easy jobs, they are actively bad people who do not fundamentally disagree with Trump on any matter but his poor manners.

I have zero doubt that if Trump could get away with ordering the assassination of his Democratic opponents, he would. Instead, he's trying to get his followers to do it for him. Sick.

Tribal sovereignty isn’t symbolic—it’s a legally recognized political relationship grounded in treaties, federal law, and the U.S. Constitution. Yet these rights are too often ignored or violated. Learn why understanding Tribal sovereignty matters and how NARF works to uphold it: buff.ly/Stf0hje

When Trump was asked about the release of the Epstein files, he called one reporter "piggy" and said another was "being insubordinate."

When Trump saw a video calling on the military to follow the constitution, he called for the death of the Democrats who made the video.

He's a tyrant.

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.
