Surreal being a trans person on this website this week. Every single one of my trans friends is making emergency preparations in case Trump bans our health care while fighting off existential dread and depression, and 99% of the cis people i follow seemingly have nothing to say about the trans EOs.

All I can really say at this point is if everyone isn't watching how trans people have lost basic rights and protections on a scale that hasn't been seen in decades in the span of 72 hours and realizing that even if you aren't trans there's nothing stopping it from happening to you, you're a fool

Being denied the means of bodily transition is a core facet of this, but so is constant vilification in media, the ostracism and censure by unsupportive peers and family, and the resultant abuse that frequently spills over into actual violence.
