Think about this a lot. My most hippy-dippy belief is this: constant, expensive, powerful right-wing hate campaigns do a lot of damage, but properly packaged decency sells quicker, and for a lot less, cf. my 77yo dad is solid on trans issues cos of a single sympathetic Corrie plotline from 20yrs ago

It’s perplexing that the BBC is currently under scrutiny for a supposed liberal bias in favour of trans rights.
Here, a spokesperson for an anti-trans group is quoted, the article says that trans inclusion would be illegal (it wouldn’t) and lists an anti-trans organisation for more info.

Claire Sharpe says she disagrees with Cycling UK only naming biological women in their top 100 list.

Gas use for electricity generation in Australia is plummeting.

Down 50% over the past decade (!!!) in the NEM on the east coast.

Gas has a small role that's getting smaller and will be absolutely crushed by big batteries in the electricity.

Not a transition fuel, no matter what BS the PM pushes.

The State Library of Victoria’s ‘major’ proposed cuts include slashing the number of reference librarians and free computers for public access. Some staff are shocked.

It's not just "consumer smart" it reduces environmental waste, key materials are often mined in slave conditions. The whole tenor of the article is wrong - why is the economy so dependent on us engaging in mass waste?
