This cannot be stressed enough, from the 404 piece yesterday: ICE is working from a legal rationale which states that if a device is collecting adtech or location data, which is then sold to ICE, b/c the owner didn't change the privacy settings, the owner relinquished their Fourth Amendment rights.

my hot take is that I don't think it's this website specifically that's toxic. the Circumstances are toxic and nobody really knows what to do about it so they come online and scream. and if I may offer an alternative: actually going outside and screaming feels better.

The consequences of RFK's first year in office will unfold over years--decades, even. Some hints of how his HHS overhaul will affect the health of Americans be more immediately evident. For my latest @opinion.bloomberg.com , pointed out a few metrics that I'll be watching in 2026 (🎁):
America’s Year of Health-Care Chaos Will Have These Consequences
The unprecedented turmoil at the US’ top health agencies, under the leadership of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is sure to have a long-term impact on the well-being of Ame...

It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

The hepatitis B vaccine had been recommended for all newborns since 1991.

From 1990-2019, acute hepatitis B infections reported among children and teens fell 99 percent. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/16/w...
Breaking: After contentious debates and three failed attempts at a vote, a federal vaccine committee decided on Friday to end the decades-long recommendation that all newborns be immunized at birth against hepatitis B.

#NIH is hanging by a thread. The #CDC has been decimated. #RFK Jr. and Russell #Vought are psychopaths--I don't say this frivolously--they are cold, calculating, inflicting violence on millions through public policy. It is where we are right now. These men are not normal. 1/

Every reputable expert I know considers mRNA vaccine technology to be one of the most revolutionary advances in medicine in our lifetimes. Its inventors won the Nobel Prize in 2023. Shutting it down now is pointless self-harm to humanity.
Release from HHS: HHS will wind down its development of the mRNA vaccine development activities under the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA).

this was the biggest and fastest win against a pathogen in medical history

also it was a brand new pandemic pathogen

simply awe-inspiring, if you understand anything about the promise of clear thinking and hard work to do good and achieve great things
To say that "the data show these vaccines fail" in regards to the mRNA plaform is unforgivable.

For those of you that don't remember - this is the data from a SINGLE dose. In December 2020. So good I cried in grateful tears.
