My favorite tree is in Italy - just 15 minutes from my dad's home outside of Lucca. It's a 600 year old Oak know as the "oak of the witches." I too this photo way back in 2009 when I was just discovering photography.

Stoat (Mustela ermine): This mammal is found across Eurasia and also in North America where it is known as the short-tailed weasel.It mainly preys on small rodents, birds & eggs as well as rabbits.Thank you Piet Struijk for sharing your photo of a Stoat in winter coat taken in the Netherlands #stoat

I love this kind of photography. I do it with high burst rates on my crow friends when they come in to land to collect their tax revenue. You can see the feathers on their "shoulders" delaminate when they brake for landing. Very cool

The constant, simmering background stress and anxiety I felt when they were in Chicago this fall was unlike anything I had ever experienced. They fucking suck.
For people who have not yet had ICE descend on their city, I think it’s hard to convey how all-encompassing their presence is. You constantly hear about the neighbors they’ve taken, get texts about where not to go that day, see signs from where people were taken, hear whistles from down your block.
ICE killed a member of our community today. ICE showed up at my kid’s daycare today. ICE is bragging about the number of families they’ve torn apart in a matter of days, and promising that their campaign of terror isn’t done.
