Fun day in Prince Albert National Park, where a herd of elk crossing the road is a nice change from regular traffic.

Was great to participate in the launch of Conserva Aves in Panama! Here's my chat with Karla Aparicio who explains the importance of one of the sites which will be protected for birds. I'm proud that Birds Canada is part of this conservation effort! www.linkedin.com/posts/birdsc...

Stan made so many people’s days just a little bit brighter with his daily posts from Newfoundland. RIP
For those of you not still on X/Twitter, we received some sad news. Stan Collins @stan_sdcollins, passed away on Nov 4th. Stan was a wonderful photographer who posted about Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland. He was so engaging and full of positive energy and he will be missed by the whole community. RIP

Leopards are one of the apex predators in Africa and we were thrilled to have a couple encounters.
Unlike lions, they are solitary animals and can drag a prey that’s twice their body weight up into a tree.
This male had just finished a large meal of zebra and was resting in the shade.

Ruby-crowned Kinglets are described as hyperactive. After many attempts, I finally managed to capture one. Unfortunately, just not in focus.

I was SO EXCITED when this beautiful Eastern Painted Turtle emerged from the cold dark pond and crawled up onto the VERY LOG I WAS SITTING ON only 13 feet away!

Unfortunately, the minimum focusing distance of my lens is 16 feet. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One of my favourite polar bear photos I've taken to date. It was a weird, misty evening with just a sliver of sunlight coming through the fog, lighting up this bear on the rocks just outside of town. #mammals 🌿 #BearSeason2025
