We have an abundance of evidence that thoughtfully-designed decentralized systems are robust and resilient. Websites like Wikipedia or ThePirateBay work for the same reasons the underlying technology of the internet works.

Favorite thing about Wikipedia is that every time it was first explained ("anyone can edit!") the presumption was it would never work but every time early social media was explained ("now everyone has a platform!") it was basically understood as an unqualified good

I’ve started using the term “ethnic cleansing campaign” to describe the ICE occupation here in Minnesota. This is deliberate because the reality on the ground is that, at a given moment, any non-white person can be kidnapped by masked federal paramilitaries regardless of their constitutional rights.
