Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is blocking a vote on extending Affordable Care Act subsidies, which means the subsidies will lapse. Millions of Americans will pay much higher fees or will drop their health insurance altogether.
Republicans did this while making sure rich people got a tax cut.
This has the votes to pass with bipartisan support, but Johnson is going to adjourn the House again to delay it as long as possible just like he did with Epstein.
