Interesting read, but I am not sure whether it's the smartest idea for Europe to "confront China" alongside the US. I do not think that the US is a reliable partner for Europe, and there's a considerable risk for Europe to become simply leverage for Washington.

Mimicking Nazi Germany, the Russians are indiscriminately bombing Ukrainian homes and infrastructure, leaving millions without electricity or running water as winter approaches. Yet NATO cannot close Ukrainian airspace to protect civilians from this fascist aggression as it did in Bosnia and Libya.
