the whole idea of insurance is CRAZY. here, let me pay you a jillion dollars to protect me from hypothetical events in the future and if any of them actually happen there’s a chance all the money i’ve been paying won’t cover it. i did not agree to be a part of this when i was born!!!

every single bit of news I’ve seen is that this guy had a surgery with an unpleasant aftermath that made him hate insurance companies making it the most obvious motive in human history but the news is going to go “I noticed at the end of this Sonic the Hedgehog game that he murders a scientist”
I have lost the ability to tell if news organizations are actually this out of touch, this uncaring about fact-checking or context, or if this is an editorial agenda to terrify the people who would benefit most from universal healthcare, the elderly.
