Trump visited the UK so much so he could manufacture a false credibility to back up his lies about London. He and his cronies should have to apologize, but that’ll never happen. Anyway, London is a fantastic and wonderful city, and these lies about its dangerousness are particularly offensive.

One problem is certainly that the defenders of wealth are telling lies, and another is that the non-wealthy are believing them with conspicuous eagerness. But another less recognized problem is that those taking progressive stances love to use shame- and guilt-kink in their arguments too much.
