Could someone explain to me what is meant when a British person refers to "the middle class" ? Like, in the US, as I hear it, it basically just means a person who makes a certain amount of money, not too far below and not wildly above the median. Seems like a complex concept when UK writers use it?

Serious post. As a survivor of #CSA for over years in a case the judge himself felt was heartbreaking. Everyone talking about getting justice or dangers to women and I'm all about that... why I went to court aged 13. But noone talking about supporting victims/surviours.⬇️

For all those at the start of writing your #PhD. I finished at draft 22. Having lost 70000 odd words along the way from starting draft 150000
So just write the rubbish first draft.
Just write it badly to start, all of it.
My first noone seen, my third supervisors got labelled as my first!

You all know SM isn't a piece of real work? It's not even close to anything. I have published in education before this PhD. My PhD is in Engineering.
So don't worry about my spelling being off here. I'm AuDHD. I know my spelling and grammar doesn't often read right here.
