This is vile and so so wrong. GB News is the TV version of X.

Extreme racism like this should not be platformed as ‘news.’

It is absolutely disgusting and another attempt to drag ‘debate’ to the right and destabilise our democracy.

Same team/squad as the weekend. Maybe consistency is a good thing?

Um, if an LLMs's tendancy to lie and cheat isn't something that can be stopped, maybe this isn't a great product to incorporate at every level of our professional and personal lives?

Is Farage still facing scrutiny over his partner’s £885k Frinton home.

Is it aggressive tax avoidance? Has he misled voters? Where’s the transparency? What’s happening?

Just asking questions.

Analysis: OpenAI is a loss-making machine, how can it survive?
Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

Someone should tell Morgan Rogers that stamping on Gomes’ foot was also dangerous and he got away with it and Villa scored.

So konsa pulls back Mosquera for 15 yards then falls over and Mosquera gets booked. Ok ref.

Modern football. £100k+ a week to fall over on contact. Repeatedly. Ad nauseum.

You’d think referees would be wise to it. Then you remember they haven’t addressed it for years, decades even.

The "don't have an extra kid if you can't afford it" brigade get awfully upset when you suggest they don't stay in their £2m house if they can't afford it, don't they?

The UK, where the day after a decision to take half a million children out of poverty, the media & political world has been full of sneering at those same children & their families, labelling them as ‘Benefits Street’, while the same people are moaning about a tax on £2m mansions. Shameful stuff.

Wonderful to see this report out. Integral to the design and initial implementation of this project was the brilliant Dr Leah Hewerdine (who just so happens to have been my former PhD student 🤗)
New report on how people engage with archaeology is out - Trowel and Error: A Public User Needs Survey. Lots to digest but key conclusions are: 1) archaeologists risk undervaluing and hiding ourselves, our practices and the role we play in society... www.archaeologyuk.org/our-work/tro...

And this is what these majors have signed up to:

“The startup will combine traditional streaming features from services such as Spotify (SPOT.N), opens new tab with AI tools that allow users to remake songs in different styles, according to Bloomberg”

Just why.
Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment have signed licensing deals with AI music technology company Klay Vision Inc., making it the first AI music startup to secure licensing deals with all three major record companies

PLEASE this.

And also to scientists writing press releases, too - calling something "AI" when it was actually your student spending 12 months fitting and validating a model is disingenuous
Journalist challenge: Use “Machine Learning” when you mean machine learning and “LLM” when you mean LLM. Ditch “AI” as a catch-all term, it’s not useful for readers and it helps companies trying to confuse the public by obscuring the roles played by different technologies. 🧪
