Yeah but the alternative is saving money and not having a 4 win player for the next four years
Put another way, he's probably Brandon Nimmo in 3-4 years. Would you be OK signing 32/33-year-old for 5/200 or 6/240 if it guaranteed you a 4 WAR player for 3-4 years before then?

This play was apparently called "HURRICANE" in the huddle. The formation looks like "Tush Push", but two eligible players kick out left, pulling defenders with them. Patrick Ricard, the fullback, kicks right and blows out the one perimeter blocker. Andrews boots right and runs for daylight.
