This is fu*king outrageous!

The federal government on Saturday dismissed charges against a Utah plastic surgeon accused of throwing away COVID-19 vaccines, giving children saline shots instead of the vaccine and selling faked vaccination cards.

On the patently unlawful boat strikes

It's hard for USGs to claim ‘mistake of law’ or ‘advice of counsel’ – when they’re firing lawyers who wouldn't sign off on the strikes.

WaPo's new revelations on firings or removals:

1) CIA General Counsel
2) NSC Legal Adviser
3) CIA Mission Center’s lawyer

White House blew past legal concerns in deadly strikes on drug boats
The Trump administration sidestepped skeptical lawyers across national security agencies as it pursued a military campaign against alleged narcotraffickers, officials say.

There were two US citizens in the car. They were apprehended and detained for “obstructing” ICE by honking their horn to let people know ICE was in the neighborhood.

A blockbuster investigation by the AP, out today.

So much in it, give it a read, but starts with: "The U.S. Border Patrol is monitoring millions of American drivers nationwide in a secretive program to identify and detain people whose travel patterns it deems suspicious."

Apparently RFK Jr. promised Senator Bill Cassidy that he wouldn’t remove the statement

“Vaccines do not cause autism” from the CDC website.

So what RFK Jr. did instead is spit in his face by leaving the statement there and adding this:

Stephen Miller is scared because Democrats are calling on U.S. military service members and intelligence professionals to honor their oaths to the Constitution.

Miller knows they can’t do that and enforce Trump’s unconstitutional agenda - which Miller himself has shaped.

The legal profession needs to realize it failed and has to get better.

Coup plotters, Constitution-ignorers, rationalizers, enablers, the Supreme Court's calvinball rulings — all yours.

Your culture said move slowly, give benefit of the doubt, even treat it like a game. Far from all, but enough.

The Supreme Court made up the "major questions doctrine," under which the Court gets extra powers when things are a Big Deal and what's a Big Deal is up to the Justices.

Why not make up a new "signature policies" rule where a president can put things beyond the court's reach, like a franchise tag.
Bessent on tariffs: "This is one of President Trump's signature policies, and traditionally the Supreme Court does not interfere with a president's signature policy."

my takeaway from this letter is that glenn youngkin, rector sheridan and their flunkies on the board are deeply dishonest people who are engaged, with the trump administration, in a mob-style shakedown against the university of virginia
Former UVA president Jim Ryan, who resigned over the summer due to pressure from the Trump Administration, just shared this 12-page letter with the Faculty Senate, detailing his experience with the Board of Visitors and DOJ.

It's a surreal--and troubling--read.

Democratic elites are biased against controversial leadership. And this is why they retreat.

Liberal elites think that persuasion and power are dirty--not realizing that people's lives depend on them being strong.

Only strength will defeat fascism. Not compromise.

It’s such a bad idea, when one of his crimes was calling forth an insurrection, that he’s actually forbidden from holding the office by a constitutional provision, which a unanimous Supreme Court invented a way to turn off.
To repeat: Maybe electing a life-long criminal to an office where he can pardon other criminals wasn't such a good idea.
