I'm loving Tim Walz for this almost as much as I'm loving what I'm imagining SNL's wig department is going to do with this week's sketches.
People are going to be very unhappy that Republicans may be ending the healthcare subsidies. Republican leaders got what they wanted but I’m guessing there’s gonna be a backlash from their base.

It really looks like a huge mistake was made years ago in the medical community encouraging women NOT to take hormone replacement therapy when they become menopausal.

Solar’s price drop is astonishing: panels are now 98% cheaper than when I first analyzed them in 2004.

Today, building a fence with solar can be cheaper than using wood.

Do you know that Butterfinger has less than 2% cocoa?

Is this new or has it always been this way?

Is this part of the Trump claim the prices are going down, when in fact things are so expensive manufacturers are changing the formulas?

Why next year's flu shot might not be as good as it should be
America's withdrawal from the World Health Organization is affecting the ability of U.S. scientists to track flu and other pathogens. That could be a blow to the development of the 2025 flu vaccine.

A small number of Democratic Senators voted to end the shutdown.

We have 2 choices when we vote: Democrat or Republican. I'm voting Democrat to save democracy, regardless of whether I'm pissed at a few specific democrats & regardless of whether the Dem candidate satisfies all my policy desires.

It’s not just the failure to secure healthcare subsidies, it’s the failure to demonstrate the Democrats have a spine and will fight Fire with Fire.

This failure has screwed us in the past and will continue to do so until Democrats wise up.
Interesting that NY gov Kathy Hochul felt compelled to put out a statement against Dems' deal to end the shutdown

In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.

And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.
