Today, I’m excited to announce the first major policy solution of our campaign: a concrete plan to break the power of corporate monopolies and build the next generation of public options.

Billionaires didn’t build the world we live in, workers did.

Stop confusing wealth with contribution. The math has never added up.

The person Doug Ford has appointed to the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators doesn’t know what ECEs do.

You’ll be surprised to learn that Julie O’Driscoll is a Conservative donor and former comms director for MPP Steve Clark, who resigned amid the Greenbelt land swap controversy.

Falling for anti-migrant racism doesn't protect workers, it entrenches capitalism by making workers more vulnerable & exploitable! Our enemy arrives in limousine, not someone on a boat fleeing colonial devastation.

Being pro-migrant is central to our collective fight against fascism!

My position is clear: I am unequivocally opposed to any new fossil fuel development — including LNG.

We must have the courage to say this to every government, of any stripe: if you’re building new pipelines or fossil infrastructure, this shall not pass.

Canada’s politicians & media talk about the exploding military budget like it’s gravity—a natural law you don't question.

As @nolore.bsky.social nails in this needed rant, we’re all sleepwalking into a forever-militarized country without real debate. #cdnpoli

If war were just human nature, it would not be so deeply long-term traumatizing to participate in war.

If war were just human nature, military training would not amount to psychological torture.

If war were just human nature, there would be no need to pump literal billions into pro-war propaganda.

Saw this posted by @etfoeducators.bsky.social on IG. In Ontario we have junior kindergarten students as young as 3.5 years old. When I worked in daycare with this age group we had 16 children per class, with two educators.

37 is not SAFE, let alone developmentally appropriate.

Worth every minute of your time. CDN 2025 budget analysis from @desmondcole.bsky.social and from @nolore.bsky.social and @sandela.bsky.social is where it’s at.
Mark Carney's budget will make Trump and Canada’s corporate class happy, but it does little for working people.

Let's go one further. Any councillor, including the Mayor, or member of City staff who defends road measures that enable dangerous driving styles on roads also used by pedestrians, should work as a crossing guard for one week.

When a vulnerable road user is killed, saying ‘everyone has a role in safety’ is just code for dodging responsibility. People walking aren’t the ones killing anyone. Drivers and the city need to step up - full stop.
Turn your thoughts in to action and keep vulnerable road users safe.

Come on. LNG is a dying fuel and y'all know it.

We're gonna rape our land for a 10-year window of resources, and we can't undo the damage to the land in even a generation.

AT WHAT COST?

I'm pro building the economy and know we will have some cost to the land, but for LNG? What a waste.

One of the defining feelings in American life, for decades now, is elites doing plainly criminal shit and nothing at all happening as a result. It is deranging in a way that virtually nothing else is. Media fixates on perceived street lawlessness but shit like this matters much more in my opinion.

No. It is a backward walk in neo-liberalism that waves blithely at the existential threat of climate change, species extinction, fresh water availability etc. It believes in economics, not politics and avoids human issues. So, it could be a whole lot more forward thinking.
