genuinely think the first point in any convo about ADHD meds should be that 1) ADHD is linked to increased rates of brain degeneration, and developing dementia / Alzheimers & 2) taking ADHD meds slows that rate of degeneration to the same speed as peers without ADHD

We do owe each other a living! Like the planet doesn't care but the world as it is made up of humans SHOULD CARE. I find it so repugnant that we are giving 18 and 19 years olds more reasons to think we don't care about them.

The better you are at a thing, the more "AI" will be a drag on your time, because it's operating at a lower level of skill than you are, and you have to fix what it does, rather than just do what you already know how to do.

Unpopular opinion maybe but hey NZ, we should *not* in fact make it illegal to record audio of someone without their consent. There are people in power up to no good for whom this would be Christmas.
We *should* however add audio to our existing laws about unconsented intimate recordings.

NZ Parliament should not have its own bar. NZ MPs shouldn't have their own little subsidised pub to hide in. It certainly shouldn't take the aesthetics of an English pub, which automatically tells you who it's for and who it is not for. MPs want a beer? Go have one in public, why not boost hospo?

This really is a shocker. Even if they weren't *intending* to do corruption, there's an apparent conflict of interest that is in no way remedied by Chris Bishop handing the job of nursing Mill Road into the fast-track bill to Simeon Brown. It's just an appalling process in multiple ways.
