A primary lesson of Woke 2 must be that regardless of how you personally feel about any particular group, the fascists will *always* come for you because it is what they do.

Equality or death, there are no other options.

I know everyone thinks the best political message is the one that resonates with them personally so grain of salt prepared but I think national ads about Minnesota schools closing down because ICE agents are attacking children would be the political equivalent of a nuclear bomb.

god it must feel so good being in c-suite right now. you basically aren't allowed to have ideas so you just sorta play balatro 24/7 until coachella or burning man or bumbershoot or a ted-x talk happens to you. tell the users you're feeding them a shit sandwich of AI, and they hate you for it

One of the most difficult things to understand and accept is that you are also a motivated interpreter of what you consume. What seems abundantly clear to you may be ambiguous to a third party and mean the opposite to differently motivated viewer. Even when considering lies, you must consider lens.

People do seem to go insane over stancil, but looking at his trajectory of always and only trying to always sound like the only adult talking down to his nominal allies, I give the guy a year or so to go full Greenwald

To give ourselves the best chance to win, I recommend the following changes to our approach. Democrats need to:
1. Focus on what I personally like.
2. Advocate for my preferred economic agenda.
3. Tell everyone I'm a special boy.
4. Quit doing what I dislike.
5. Embrace empty populist rhetoric.

It is within Donald Trump's rights to fire everyone on the Federal Reserve Board and replace them with his friends. But if a future Democratic president tries to remove Trump's friends from the Board, that will be strictly unconstitutional.

Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

I love it when someone you respect is like "good thing is bad because the things that other people all think are good about it are actually not good. I have incredible taste and you do not. Anyways, here's how I would do it based on a series of licensed novel tie ins from the 90s"
