i’m agnostic on data centers as a general matter.

we need them for our internet and digital economy. there are pros and cons.

what i’m not agnostic about is AI, the damage it is doing to the creative world, and the risks it poses for our climate progress.

Aw, man. Keaton was legit one of the greats. The people I know who worked with her all have nothing but incredibly glowing things to say about her. Worked right up to the end. A real loss.

Everything happening could have been prevented if you'd either not voted for the orange rapist convict or voted for Kamala Harris.

Would it be perfect? No. I'm the first to say so. But it wouldn't be this. The status quo may have been unsustainable, but don't you think you'd prefer it to THIS?

Anyone who tells you that small actions have no meaning has absolutely 0 understanding of how organizing works.

Boycotts are one the of the strongest tools in any collective arsenal. There will be no Great Action™ that stops all of this. Only a bunch of small ones that create a greater whole.
Seeing a lot of "Canceling your Disney+ subscriptions doesn't really matter much" and... I mean... people are TRYING to do something. Why are you discouraging them?

Replace them all. Primary every single one. They are useless to us as we fight this autocracy.
95 democrats, including @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social voted to "honor" the life of charlie kirk, who called for joe biden to be killed and said black women like justice ketanji brown jackson are unqualified affirmative action hires.

shame.

It’s astonishing and scary to watch because generally when Trump meets resistance he eventually moves on — he doesn’t want to be seen taking the L. He tests the fences and goes away. Instead here, he tests the fences and they just… take the fences down for him.
