In case it wasn't already obvious why Farage and his party are spreading misinformation about the climate crisis and trying to blame the most vulnerable for the problems caused by inequality - they've just received a record donation from a jet fuel multimillionaire!

Day 30 of hunger strikes in UK prisons:
Demanding shutdown of Elbit Systems, deproscription and immediate bail.

The largest since 1981, ignored by government and media.
All the while people here can’t afford bills, food or rent …yet are forced to subsidise Israeli arms dealers.

In France, people still remain destitute, are still beaten, tear gassed & robbed by the French police, still have no hope but the idea that by risking their lives one more time, the UK will provide them the chance of a future.

And we still imagine we can make them disappear.

When Rishi Sunak made the Vaccine deal with Moderna as Chancellor, he had up to £530m invested in Moderna.

Now Michelle Mone is desperately bringing it up.

Like if you want Mone on trial.
RT if you want them both facing the music.

Wales is held back by the Barnett Formula — a blunt calculation that doesn’t reflect real need.

Labour shows no sign of fixing this, so I raised the issue to press for a democratic, needs-based system.

I remember this so well... As the final seconds of a brilliantly funny comedy series, it was shockingly effective.

You'd come to 'know' the characters. Nothing could have emphasised the pointless tragedy of it all more effectively. It was a piece of genius.

My grandfather fought in WWI
My father WWII
Both like today’s soldiers
Spat out, traumatised,
No counsel or support
Unable to be decent fathers
And I bitterly resent their sacrifice
Used by MOD & arms makers
To showcase new killing machines
Instead of today’s heroes
Promoting peace & reconciliation
It will be a privilege this #RemembranceDay to stand again for Defence Humanists and @humanists.uk at the cenotaph. I will be thinking of the pity of war, the necessity of peace, of all the brave people who have fought for it whether in uniform or as civilians, and of those who grieve.

A man ran home from work, pulled his wife into the bedroom, threw her on the bed, and pulled the blankets over them.

She was shocked-he hadn't been like this for 20 years. Then her husband said: "Look! My new watch glows in the dark" 🤣

Intent on destroying bats, newts and doesn't care about nature?

@zackpolanski.bsky.social what's most disturbing is the environmental deregulation and impact on local communities. Where green belt land has been carved up , and bio diversity destroyed. Just look at Teeside Freeport. We as tax payers have had no say on any of it. 👇
You know what enrages me, how tax payers money is directly given to private companies who run Freeports in UK and it's the new regional Mayor 's sign it off. They decide. Freeports are already receiving levelling up fund money. Labour 's plan to merge borough councils too..... Our money!!!!
