It's kinda heartbreaking to see so many artists being like "can I post about OCs and not just fanart?", "can I talk about other stuff?", "can I post often?" because the other hellsite literally punished you for doing...normal things you do as an artist - as a person, even.

I think I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I still think being disqualified from any awards that would rule against GenAI is proper (even out of naivety, it was still shipped with it), but I can at least understand the mistake. Many of us dabbled with DALL-E not knowing what it was yet

And there was a very pointed question with a clear cut answer on the genAI stuff- this is so much more reassuring!!!?
Basically it was due to early genAI naivety and they don’t fw it.

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

I'm sorry to keep harping on this but since my dad is in the hospital I'm the one who has to get this paid for and I'm already drowning under my own bills and chronic pain.
Hate to do this but I just got back from visiting my dad and talking to insurance and we're gonna have some additional hospital costs neither of us (we're both out of work atm) can cover in addition to everything else. I'm sorry to keep asking, it's degrading, but we really need the help.
