LeadDev NYC is such a special community, not least because of the thought, emotion, and energy @yee.camp puts into it.
Spending two straight days with thirty or so speakers who are obsessed with their corner of these topics is a real gift, but so is spending that time with the community of engineering managers who come every year. It is a very useful thing to talk about the work. People find help, people find work.

1. 4 months ago, The Supreme Court gave families a right to opt out of LGBTQ+ education in schools.
Now, in Montgomery County, Maryland, where the case originated, the results are in.
Only 43 families out of 160,000 students have exercised that new right.

I don’t think it’s bad exactly and I know they had to get Han back but the entire first part of Return of the Jedi with Jabba really seems like “the gang does something to pass the time before we start the plot of the movie”
