If you compare Greta Thunberg's treatment to Chris Smalls' then you can understand why we say that this can all stop as soon as white people decide it's important enough.

@abigailspanberger.com The BBB has passed the House and intends to dramatically increase 🧊 funding. Arrests have already increased over 350% in VA since last year. What are YOU going to do as governor to protect Virginia s from being kidnapped? www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

A few more examples of how badly student loans are hurting the states.

We need our constitutional BANKRUPTCY LEVERAGE returned to us, as it exists for ALL other borrowers, ALL other loans.

Spread the word.

also an excellent blocklist of liberals who hate students/protestors in the comments
"Why aren't young people protesting?"

Consider—because they all got their shit rocked by police and prosecutors last year trying to stop a genocide, and you abandoned them.

The United States Institute of Peace is a private, independent nonprofit not a federal agency.

Trump and Musk have no more authority to take it over than they have to seize assets of the American Red Cross or replace the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops with Elon Musk’s young stooges.
Leavitt: "There have been bureaucrats at some of these agencies that have been trying to act independent. They need to remember who they work for. It's the executive of the executive branch. You look at the US Institute of Peace for example ... "

Unconscionable. This innocent man is a legal resident and should be home with his family in Maryland.

Instead, he was shackled by ICE and disappeared into a Salvadoran mega-prison without any charges or due process.

The cruelty is the point.
EXCLUSIVE: The Trump administration has acknowledged that it grabbed a Maryland father with protected status and mistakenly deported him to El Salvador—but claims that courts are powerless to order his return, @nickmiroff.bsky.social reports: theatln.tc/Bot5mE4O

This is what Trump and Musk are doing during a measles outbreak.

Today, 10,000 staffers were fired at CDC—including measles and bird flu experts—while dozens of free vaccination clinics were canceled in Texas.

These billionaires don’t seem to care that children will die from their cruel cuts.

Many clinics had been planned at schools in the Dallas area with low vaccination rates.

Budget vote is today. Some dems are still on the fence. Flood their lines! Tell them to vote no on cloture and no on the continuing resolution. The CR hands spending power to Trump to slash at will. A shutdown to bring negotiators to the table is better than a permanent shutdown from being defunded

BEWARE THE ONE-PARTY STATE

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

These are bold and wild allegations from the FBI, which is moving to criminalize organizations like Habitat for Humanity for receiving grants from the EPA.

In a court filing, Citibank disclosed that it had been directed by the FBI to freeze the bank accounts of these groups.

Never assume for the future that any politician will keep to any values that may have aligned with yours in the past.

Politicians do not run on consistency or liberation. They run on profit.

If they align, we leverage it, but we remain vigilant about all positions open to shifting at any moment.

The Democratic Party’s problems are not about being moderate or left. That’s a consultant and pundit red herring

The problems are in party organization, the culture of “it’s their turn” nominations, candidate recruitment, gerontocracy, inability to shape media topics, and coming off hella lame

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

Most people also do not actually know how caste/casteism works in Silicon Valley, how savarna networks of desi techbros operate to exclude.

And how way too many savarna communities genuinely believe they are genetically, inherently predisposed to be "better at science and mathematics"
Its also about caste and class: their claims about "IQ" are deffo about their superiority complexes, and their positioning themselves as "deserving" migrants while they take advantage of social and political capital afforded to them by caste and class to leverage themselves in the US once here...
