I just can't stand having to desperately try to please the majority. If I could do that, it would be so much easier. But doing so would surely betray me and my comrades.
Whenever I pitched Butch×Butch yuri works to publishers, they always responded with an attitude like, "There's no such audience." It seemed like no publisher even considered reaching out to that demographic.

I really think the people who say "anyone can call themselves trans these days" imagine some kind of past where you'd go to the doctor feeling poorly, men in white coats run a battery of tests and then, eventually, the doctor says solemnly "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I have to diagnose you with trans"

How the fuck else do we determine we're trans if not through self-identifying? You have to figure out you're trans (or might be) before you can even begin the process of fighting through the system to transition. This is fucking stupid.
