NEW: Without USAID funding to help buy food for refugees, the World Food Program rushed to prioritize families based on need, determining that only half the population would get food.

Refugees learned which half they were in from a number stamped on the back of their ration card.

Waymo lied about their robocar killing KitKat and the reality is so much worse. A woman is crouching near the front of the car trying to coax KitKat away. The moment she backs up, the car speeds away. A human driver would not have killed KitKat in this situation!
Video of KitKat killing by Waymo undercuts company's claim
Video corroborates accounts that KitKat, the Mission bodega cat, stood in front of the Waymo for 25 seconds before he was killed.

CEOs were paid 281x as much as a typical worker in 2024.

The Trump-Republican big ugly bill not only cut taxes for CEOs, it also included a tax break that allows corporations to write off the cost of private jets faster.

Is it any wonder why so many think the system is rigged?
A majority of the 500 biggest U.S. companies now pay for their CEOs to fly on private jets.
