New Year's Eve is right around the corner! Remember, you no longer need a Clipper card to ride BART and other agencies in the Bay Area.
Tap and Ride gives riders the option to pay for BART at the fare gates using contactless credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

When it opened on December 16, 1995 it was first new station to open in the BART system since the Embarcadero Station opened for passenger service in 1976.

Fruitvale station is now open and normal service has resumed on the Green and Blue Lines. Expect residual delays of up to 20 minutes on the Berryessa Line in all directions.

There is a station closure at Fruitvale on the Berryessa Line due to a major medical emergency. Bus service provided by AC Transit between Coliseum and Lake Merritt stations.

Riders traveling to San Francisco from the East Bay can board an Orange Line/Richmond train and then board AC transit bus NL at 19th St. Station in Oakland or bus O at Fruitvale Station to be taken to the Sales Force Transit Center near Embarcadero Station.
