It's actually wild how these people will insult people's intelligence.

Here is their link. Sweden is the one in pink. It had MUCH higher pandemic mortality than every other Nordic state AND it had much higher cumulative mortality normalized to the population.

Horrifying article.

Everyone who defended these guys owns this.
A must-read @politico.com piece about the man behind the Great Barrington Declaration & the Brownstone Institute, two groups that were foundational and central to RFK Jr’s rise and to his MAHA agenda (I was interviewed for the piece; there’s a quote from me)

We have the opportunity to make a similarly historic gain with clean indoor air.

To take 2023 as a benchmark, respiratory viruses (especially flu and Covid) are killing in the vicinity of 100k a year in the U.S.

It doesn’t have to be that way.
I'm a historian. Sewage systems have saved more lives than any medical intervention. Vaccines are second and antibiotics third.

Prior to the 1880s, the urban annual death rate was ~25%; it dropped to ~0.5% in under a generation.

Support your sewage system. Dispose of bodies responsibly.
I’m a sewage system. I also have a great personality.

The administration is trying to blame recent violence on Democratic and left-wing rhetoric, as though that’s what’s radicalizing people.

But the Right has been stoking anger, fear, and mistrust toward the COVID vaccines and public health authorities for years now.

What did they think would happen?

A program in Flint, MI, gave $1,500 to any/all pregnant people and $500/month for the first year of their infant’s life.

Among the benefits, those babies experienced lower rates of prematurity and low birth weight, which resulted in fewer NICU admissions, saving the city of Flint $6.2 million/year.
