“These videos aren’t produced by OB-GYNs or scientists. They aren’t based on medical information. By using a seemingly anodyne tactic in order to cunningly and covertly attack abortion rights, they are a sinister tool of anti-abortion propaganda.” — @laurenarankin.bsky.social
Ohio Republican State Rep. Melanie Miller has introduced legislation that would require Ohio public schools to show a video about “Baby Olivia,” inaccurately detailing fetal development, to students as young as the third grade.
GOP Wants to Mandate “Fetal Development Education.” It’s Anti-Abortion Nonsense.
Republicans can’t seem to convince adults to vote against abortion, so they’re trying to brainwash kids instead.

Abortion opponents have realized that they've lost public opinion among adults. Now, they're trying to brainwash children by mandating that schools show junk science videos about fetal development. And it's already the law in several states.

the grievances of the Right are 'legitimate' and exist because the Left 'goes too far.' The grievances of the Left(s) are illegitimate because they are disfavored groups who should be grateful to get to live in this country.
I am remembering how the Tea Party protests in the Obama administration (2009-2010) were covered and thinking about how that coverage compares to the No Kings protests. #contentiousky

NEW: Recordings from a crisis pregnancy center conference, shared exclusively with Autonomy News, reveal that anti-abortion physicians are reluctant to prescribe abortion pill “reversal”—even as the conservative legal movement uses the supposed treatment to expand CPCs’ free speech rights.
Abortion Pill “Reversal” Is a Hoax. It's Also a Powerful Right-Wing Legal Strategy.
Speakers at a crisis pregnancy center conference made rare admissions about the challenges of providing so-called abortion “reversal,” and indicate its importance as a litigation tool.

Good news: y’all have already raised $300!

Bad news: she’s measured further along and the cost has gone up. She needs a total of $3,400 now in addition to the $1,000 we already pledged. Our goal is now $2,500 to raise for her and we will cover the rest of the balance.

Just a reminder that mifepristone is incredibly safe and has been approved by the FDA for a quarter of a century. You can purchase medication abortion (mifepristone and misoprostol) online and have it shipped to your home through @aidaccess.bsky.social. Mifepristone has a shelf life of 5 years.

Vaccine deniers have learned from abortion opponents that you can ban health care without actually making it illegal––stigmatize it and make it inaccessible. It's meant to make us distrust science and disbelieve what we see with our own eyes. My latest for @truthout.org: truthout.org/articles/fda...

Abortion opponents have firebombed and shot up abortion clinics. They've murdered 11 abortion providers and stalked, harassed, and terrorized untold others. I personally have been doxxed, threatened, and stalked.

They aren't interested in talking to us. They hate us. They want us dead. Literally.
