One of the highlights of this year was co-hosting a keynote lecture by the magnificent Sherene Seikaly, titled "Palestine as Paradigm."

I am so honoured to be able to share it with you all. Take some time with it. Her message has never been more urgent. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fq0A...

🧵 This is a perfect example of how disordered discourse reshapes democratic politics, not by policy failure, but by the performative targeting of identity. Let’s unpack what’s happening.
one of the most insane normalized aspects of our political climate is politicians going after their own constituents in the name of anti-wokeness. what are we doing here

A useful initial resource on the EHRC's segregation consultation.

Remember - do get employers, venues, and service providers to respond. And don't rush! The EHRC want us to rush. We have six weeks. If you are responding, take your time, and take care.

After the disabled have mysteriously disappeared,

while the LGBT community are being re-educated,

and curfews are introduced for non Christian-aryans,

you'll have 'sensible centrists' telling everyone this is the only way to stop Farage.....
this labour government is bat-shit insane and a genuine threat to our democracy.

'policy exchange' is just the heritage foundation - the ppl responsible for the fascist government in the united states.

I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again:

The problem haunting most trans peoples' lives is that instead of the nourishment we need to survive, we are given annihilation and expected to make due with it.

The "Gender Critical" position, pushed by Maya Forstater and the EHRC, of "we can ban trans men because of how they look regardless of their history, we can ban trans women because of their history regardless of how they look" is so blatantly ridiculous when spelled out. Why isn't this the headline

My plan for dealing with this ruling in practice is to just carry on as before until I'm stopped and I think that should be the plan most other trans people in the UK carry on with while we find a way forward.
