153/422 Dollis Hill: Jubilee Line. I think David Baddiel comes from Dollis Hill. I might be wrong, can’t be arsed to Google it. Tony’s is fucking massive. If someone invested some money in it, it could be great cos the building is amazing. As it is, it’s a bit grubby. Half cider = £2.70 Rating 2/5

@herring1967.bsky.social is this true? I don’t remember that?
121/422 Acton Town: District/Piccadilly Line. Years ago I remember Stewart Lee & Richard Herring talking about living in Acton and going to the Red Lion & Pineapple and presuming it was a joke name. It isn’t!! Huge Spoons five mins walk from the station. Excellent. Half cider = £1.30 Rating 2/5

62/422 Putney Bridge: District Line. The Eight Bells is tatty and old fashioned but has its own Wikipedia page! Big fact, a serial killer murdered someone round the corner but no one heard cos the locals were having a disco to celebrate Prince ‘paedo’ Andrew’s wedding! Half cider = £3.20 Rating 2/5

59/422 Wimbledon Park: District Line. Hop, skip and a jump to The Woodman pub which is perfectly pleasant but immediately loses a point cos apparently it’s Teresa May’s favourite pub. Although it’s hard to imagine her getting smashed up here on a Friday night. Half cider = £3.00 Rating 2/5

Heard a story about someone who made emergency berth at a tiny South Atlantic island, to discover the scientists there all looking really shifty.

They quickly discovered why. The scientists had used the spray dye for marking the pairs of penguins to paint willies and tits on the front of the birds.
